A new view on traditional therapy.
Brooke Wilson, Owner and Therapist, M.S., CCC-SLP
Brooke’s view is that therapy does not matter if only successful within the clinical walls. She values thinking outside of the box to create therapy that is functional and effective within daily family life.
She graduated from Stetson University with a bachelors in education before completing her masters in Sciences at Nova Southeastern University. Through graduate school, Brooke focused on the impact of oral motor development on speech and feeding skills. Since graduation, Brooke’s focus has been on the speech and feeding challenges of the Medically Complex. She has worked in public school settings, specialty care clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, and early intervention. She mentors students and provides supervision to speech assistants and new graduates within the field. She has had extensive training, interest, and experience with pediatric feeding challenges, speech apraxia, oral motor dysfunction, and augmentative/alternative communication and assistive technology.
Brooke has been married for over 10 years, and has one beautiful daughter. When she is not juggling various clinical and administrative duties, she enjoys visiting family and friends, playing soccer, and expanding her horizons.
Through my processes, I give parents practical, actionable guidance so they can better assist their children, and enjoy the process.
